 Woodturning CAD
Back to Bar sets.
These items don’t really need a 2D drawing but they have been included simply to create a follow though of the re-vamped site.

Basically these items are not meant for prolonged use as would be the case with a knife and fork, so the design can be a little more outrageous.

They are simple to turn between centres, very quick to make, and use only a small amount of wood.

It does make me smile sometimes when reading woodturning magazines, there are all these Fancy bowls and boxes done by the pro’s, with intricate designs and expensive wood, but the novice has got to start small, the first thing I made on a ‘proper’ lathe was a handle for a woodturning gouge, I was thrilled to bits, I had produced something useful gained some experience and hadn’t wasted a lot of money in the process.

So don’t be thinking you have to produce something really fancy, try making simple things first, the fancy stuff can be done once your experienced and won’t end up throwing £30.00 worth of wood on the scrap pile.
